Why chose Morsø stoves?

Morsø has more than 150 years of experience in making cast iron stoves and have always been at the forefront of stove development. You can always find a Morsø stove to suit your needs, whether you are considering design, size or efficiency. Morsø also stands out from other producers because:

Duration- Morsø is the only Danish stove manufacturer to give a 10- year guarantee against manufacturing defects and production flaws.

Heating capacity - Cast iron emits a constant and uniform heat. Morsø makes both radiant and convection stoves to suit most applications.

Maintenance - easy to replace parts, e.g. Due to wear. Morsø guarantees that spare parts will be available at least 10 year after the model has been discontinued.

Convection or Radiant heat - Morsø produces both stoves that heat with the convection principle and stove that use the radiant heat principle.

Consideration

Unlike other foundries that have made stoves, Morsø developed the original convection principle for tile stoves as a way of spreading hot air more evenly around the room.

Convection stoves gives a more uniform and pleasant warmth that also flows to adjoining rooms.

Convection stoves have an extra side panel attached to the outside of the firebox, that creates an air channel between the two surfaces. Convection works by transferring heat from the firebox to the air wiyhin these chanels.

As the hot air rises, cold air is sucked into the chamber at low level. This results in a rapid circulation of air within the room.

Due to the relatively low surface temperature on the side and back panels of the stove, convection stoves create a safer anvironment where children are in the house. Not only that, it allows you to place furniture closer to the stove than that of the radiant version.

Most stoves in the Morsø range can be supplied as convection models.
Radiant Heat
Generations of stoves have been made on the radiant heat principle and the spread of convection stoves; this type of stove is still very popular. This partly many people still associate wood stoves with radiant heat and partly because the room appears to warm up a lot quicker with this type.

Cast Iron

Morsø has always used cast iron for the entire firebox - not just in critical places to protect other materials. Cast iron has been the following advantages over the other materials:

-It does not distort ( does not change shape ) during use, which, for example, means that the stove doors are always shut tight.

-There is no danger of the alloy being burnt through.

-It is especially suitable for stoves, because it retains heat longer and gives off an even and pleasant warmth. If you want to keep the stove going all night, for example, cast iron is the most suitable material.
